Cold Beer is the newest concept from Kevin Gillespie and the team at Red Beard Restaurants. It is located in the Old Fourth Ward along the newly opened Eastern Trail on the Atlanta BeltLine, next to the Edgewood bridge.


Cold Beer is a continuation of the work begun at Gunshow in 2013 and aims to create a beverage-centric concept rooted in seasonality and whimsy. Expect an ever-changing list of cocktails and draft beer from longtime Gunshow alum Mercedes O’Brien, with a menu from Gillespie and chef de cuisine Brian Baxter that focuses on highlighting the work of the mixology team.

Taking inspiration from bar cultures around the world, the cuisine will be similar to Gunshow’s in that it’s always changing and far from ordinary.

With a rooftop bar, Atlanta BeltLine-facing patio, beautiful dining room, and soon-to-come biergarten space, Cold Beer will be a bustling and energetic place.

Cold Beer is open Tuesday-Sunday from Happy Hour to late evening and also hosts a Boozy Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm. The team looks forward to pouring you a drink and sharing a meal with you all very soon!

Cold Beer is located at 670 DeKalb Avenue NE, Suite 101, Atlanta, Georgia 30312, along the newly opened East Trail of the Atlanta BeltLine next to the Edgewood Bridge. The front door faces the BeltLine. Street parking is available on Airline Street and Edgewood Avenue. Paid parking is available in the Edge's parking deck, with entrances on both DeKalb and Airline.
